Four Arrested in Connection with Home Invasion

gunpointFour people have been arrested in connection with a Wednesday night home invasion, that occurred in Floyd County.

A man armed with a handgun reportedly assaulted a homeowner in Armuchee – eventually tying up both he and his wife; after the pair thought the suspect had fled the scene, the wife managed to untie herself and call 9-1-1.

Neighbors told officers that they had spotted a late 1990’s gray or blue Mercury Marquis or Crown Vic which didn’t belong in the neighborhood, and that car was soon pulled over by a Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office Deputy.

Law enforcement officials found weapons, money and other evidence inside the vehicle, and four people were arrested at the scene, including – 23 year old Alicia Tindle, 30 year old Nikario Gresham, 37 year old Adrian Mitchell, and 27 year old Ryderious Ferrell.

According to police reports the four had left the victims’ residence with $6,200 in cash, two wedding rings, a wallet and a cell phone.

All four have been charged with two counts of aggravated assault, theft by receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, home invasion and two counts of kidnapping.
