DeKalb County Constable Arrested For Obstructing Governmental Operations

Kneeley Pack

DeKalb County Constable Kneeley Pack has been arrested for Obstructing a Governmental Operation.

According to DeKalb County Chief Deputy Michael Edmunds, deputies went to Pack’s residence to serve a Writ of Restitution/Possession Order which is a move out order to give the home owner possession of the residence.

Once Deputies made contact with Pack he became unruly and uncooperative and tried to prevent them from serving a court order.

At which time Pack was arrested for Obstructing Government Operations.

Edmondson said “The Deputies are tasked with serving court orders on a daily biases. Anytime we receive a court order signed by a judge we are bound by the State Laws to follow that order. If anyone tries to hinder the service of a court order they will be arrested.”

This is the second time in two years Pack has been arrested. He was also arrested in February of 2014 on fraud charges. The indictment in this instance involved four different victims. One victim said Pack was working a job for Pack and Son Construction when he allegedly walked off the job without completing it after being paid nearly $20,000.
