Two northwest Georgia residents were arrested on drug charges early Thursday afternoon in Cherokee County.
Demetrius Diefoley Depray Hamlin, age 18 and Jayla Katriece Callaway, also age 18, both of Rome, were each charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Both were booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center at around 3:00pm Thursday, where they remain awaiting setting of bond.
