No one was injured following a two vehicle accident at around 5:30 Wednesday evening near the R&D One Stop on Highway 411 South.

The Leesburg Police Department and Cherokee EMS responded to the scene.

Leesburg Firefighters were also dispatched to a report of a fire alarm at a residence off of County Road 7 near Adrian’s old store in Leesburg just 30 minutes later.

The call initially came in as a fire alarm, however as police and firefighters were in route to the location they were notified that there was indeed a fire at the residence.

Firefighters arrived to find a small fire in the kitchen area of the home which fortunately suffered only minor damage – no was injured during the incident.
