The Cherokee County Board of Education has taken a proactive measure to both conserve energy and save money.
During the school board’s regular meeting on Tuesday, Craig Messenbrink with Cenergistic which is a Dallas, Texas based Energy Conservation Group was in attendance and explained in detail how the new conservation will work.
Cenergistic has been helping school districts across the country by partnering with K-12 school districts since their inception in 1986. Cenergistic experts help thousands of administrators, educators and staffs collectively manage over $1 billion in annual utility costs across 22,000 facilities.
The board unanimously agreed to enter into a five year agreement with the group – for more information on Cenergistic, simply visit their website at www.cenergistic.com
