Commissioner Jason Winters has submitted a resolution calling for a referendum on liquor by the drink in Chattooga County.

That referendum could appear as early as the May 20th Primary Election.  Winters stated that the referendum would allow liquor by the drink in eating establishments only – adding that he’s been approached by potential restaurants looking to locate in the county, and by existing restaurants in the county about putting the measure before the voters.
