Mr. Robert Sanford age 80 of Centre passed away February 26 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 3 P.M. Saturday, March 1st at Lakeview Congregational Holiness Church, with Rev. Billy Saxton & Rev. Rick Jones officiating: burial will follow in Unity Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 P.M. Saturday at the church.
Survivors include wife, Miriam Sellers Sanford of Centre: Step-sons, Ty Cobb, Jr. of Centre, Frank Cobb of Piedmont, & Joe Cobb of Centre: Step-daughters, Belinda Hawkins of Centre & Rita Cobb of Centre: brother, Johnny Sanford of Cedar Bluff: sister, Myrtle Lea of Centre: Several Step-Grandchildren: Several Step- Great-Grandchildren: Several nieces & nephews.
Mr. Sanford was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Henry David & Syble Christine Steele Sanford and attended Lakeview Congregational Holiness Church.
