Gadsden Police Still Looking For Leads In Cold Case Dating Back to 1998

Body 1998

The Gadsden Police Department is continuing to seek information regarding the discovery of human remains more than a decade ago.

Investigators recently received an artist’s rendering from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children of what this victim may have looked like at the time of his death.

The remains of the unidentified victim, believed to be between the ages of 17 and 21, were found by fishermen in the Coosa River near the Dub Parker Boat Docks.

It is believed the young man may have been decreased for as long as a year before being found.

Police are hoping the artist rendering will help bring forth new leads in the case.

Anyone with information can contact Gadsden Police Detectives at 256 549-4630.
