Mr. Billy Reeves

Mr. Billy Reeves, age 54 of Collinsville (Hunts Chapel Community) passed away Wednesday, August 28th at his residence.

Funeral services will be held today (Thursday August 29th) at 5:00pm at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Jack Andrews officiating.

Burial will follow in Hunt’s Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.

Pallbearers include Steve Shankles, Bret Butler, Arnez Stokes, Johnny Miller, Ken Glenn and Carl “Popeye” Gladden.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Harold Pearson, Wendell Pruitt, Ricky Mackey, Jimmy Butler, Fred Oliver and Gadsden and Sand Mountain United States Postal Employees.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie Butler Reeves; daughters, Billie Kale (Matthew) Maddox of Sand Rock & Kaci Reeves of Sand Rock and one grandson, Grant Reeves Maddox of Sand Rock

Mr. Reeves was a native of Jefferson County, the son of the late Alvin and Agnes Blackwell Reeves, was a farmer and a US Mail contractor and was a member of the church at Sand Rock Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hunt’s Chapel cemetery fund.
