Mr. Arthur Max Tucker

Mr. Arthur Max Tucker, age 95, of Jamestown, Al, passed away Wednesday August 21, 2013 at his residence.

Mr. Tucker was born August 2, 1918, in Jamestown, AL, the son of the late Joe Issac and Lula Ann Burgess Tucker.  He was formerly employed at Riegel Textile, E. T Barwick Carpet Factory and Best Manufacturing.  Mr. Tucker was a veteran of WWII, having served in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife. Luna Mae “Teet” Bentley Tucker; sisters, Carrie Tucker, Lena Mae Mason; brothers, Luther Tucker, Frank “Jack” Tucker, Elbert “Bert” Tucker, and Roy Tucker.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-laws, Leon and Janice Tucker, Jimmy and Judy Tucker, Roger Tucker; 8 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P. M. Saturday, August 24, 2013 Mason Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Keith officiating.  Interment will follow in Moseley Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Jamie

Tucker, Max Tucker, Alex Tucker, Joseph Tucker, John Tucker, and Gilbert Laney.

 

Mr. Tucker will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00

until 8:00 p. m. Friday, August 23, 2013.

 

Mason Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements
