The FBI was in Chattooga County Friday and arrested Joshua Geer of Cartersville.
Geer was taken into custody on two Federal Arrest Warrants.
Greer was arrested at the Ingle’s Supermarket in Summerville, where he is an employee.
He has been charged with one count of possession of child pornography and one count of distribution of child pornography.
Geer was scheduled to make his first court appearance at the Federal Courthouse in Rome Friday afternoon.
Local authorities say there is no connection between this case and the case of twenty-three year old Cody Helton who was arrested last weekend on child pornography charges.
