Mrs. Syble Christine Sanford

Syble Christine Sanford, age 85 of Cedar Bluff, passed away Monday, May 27th at her residence.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 29th at Lakeview Congregational Holiness Church, with Rev. Billy Saxton and Rev. Rick Jones officiating; burial will follow in Unity cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, at the church.

Pallbearers include Tim Weaver, David Sanford, Porter Sanford, Paul Sanford, Randall Sanford, Kevin Weaver, Randy Chandler.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Terry Crane and Chris Crane.

Survivors include sons, Harvel (Linda) Sanford, Delmas (Trina) Sanford, Ronnie (Katie) Sanford and James (Amy) Sanford, all of Cedar Bluff; daughter, Janice Gossett; 20 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Sanford and a daughter, Peggy (Darrell) Weaver.

Mrs. Sanford was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Jessie O. and Versie F. Crane Steele and was a member of Lakeview Congregational Holiness Church.
