Cherokee County (36-7) defeated Alexandria (19-24) 8-1 on Friday to clinch the 4A, Area 11 girls softball championship.
The third ranked Lady Warriors journey to Tuscaloosa next Friday where they will square off against Crossville in the North Central Regional. First pitch is set for 3:30 p.m.
