Cedar Bluff and Gayesville firefighters were dispatched to a mobile home, just past County Road 115 on Highway 9 at around 10:00 Monday morning in response to a call from the resident stating that the home was full of smoke.
Cedar Bluff Fire Chief Bobby Joe Stinson told WEIS Radio News that when firefighters arrived on the scene they were not met by any visible flames and the problem was quickly found to be in the wiring.
Fortunately the home was saved and no one was injured, with the homeowners requiring only the services of an electrician to repair the problem.
