An early morning fire on Wednesday, has landed a Chattooga County woman in jail.
According to TV3 in Chattanooga, dispatchers received a call that a unit at Parkview Apartments on Central Avenue in Trion was ablaze – at around 12:45am.
It was quickly discovered that the fire had been intentionally set.
After a brief investigation, Trion City Police arrested 55 year old Brenda Sue Young and charged her with first degree arson.
No word yet on any motive in that case.
