Alabama State Troopers Respond to Two Accidents in DeKalb County on Tuesday

Alabama State Troopers responded to two separate accidents taking place in DeKalb County on Tuesday.

A Sand Rock man driving a 2011 Chevrolet was injured in a single-vehicle accident at around 8:00pm on County Road 83.  No additional information was immediately available regarding the man’s injuries.

Shortly before that, at around 7:30pm, a male pedestrian was struck on Alabama 168 at mile marker 17.  He was transported for treatment of unspecified injuries, and the driver of the 2001 Chevrolet – a male resident of Albertville – was unhurt.

Both incidents remain under investigation by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
