Attalla Fire-Rescue would like to congratulate Major Craig Ponder on achieving a significant milestone of 25 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Attalla.
Major Ponder was introduced to the fire service at the age of 16 with the Big Oak Volunteer Fire Department. By 1995, he was employed as a Paramedic with the ambulance service formerly known as ASI, which paved the way for his role in Attalla. Valued for his expertise, Major Ponder has earned numerous certifications from the Alabama Fire College and has served as a long-time CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support instructor through the American Heart Association.
