In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Zachary Walker, age 31 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of assault strangulation or suffocation.

Austin Phillips, age 29 of Summerville, Georgia, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on hold for another agency.

Jose Saborio, age 55 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on previous charges of trafficking methamphetamine and three counts of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Cory Hulsey, age 32 of Dallas, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 3rd degree burglary.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 113 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
