Jackon County- A Henagar man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Jackson County according to State Troopers on Monday afternoon.
Zachary S. Smith, 27, was riding a 2003 Yamaha Road Star motorcycle, when he lost control and hit a ditch. The ALEA says Smith was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred about 1 p.m. on Jackson County 78, near Jackson County 778, approximately five miles west of Ider.
The ALEA is investigating the crash.
