Twelve-run 7th propels Spring Garden baseball at Faith Christian

ANNISTON – The Spring Garden Panthers scored 12 runs in the top of the seventh inning to take a 14-3 area baseball win at Faith Christian on Tuesday.

Zane Edwards drove in five runs on a pair of hits, including a triple. He also scored twice. Carson Bostick went 2-for-3 with three runs and a RBI. Joel Hunter also had two hits, two runs and a RBI.

Connor Bates tripled, walked, scored a run and drove in one. Hayes Garmon had a hit, three walks, two runs and a RBI. John Welsh delivered a hit and scored a run. Clayton Sadler finished with a hit. Hunter Parris had a walk.

Bostick earned the complete-game win. He scattered three earned runs on four hits with two walks and six strikeouts.

The two teams finish their series on Thursday at Spring Garden beginning at 4 p.m.
