FYFFE – The Collinsville Panthers rallied from a run down in the top of the sixth inning and held on to take a 4-3 Class 3A, Area 13 baseball win at Fyffe on Tuesday.

Jake Middlebrooks homered and walked for the Panthers. Mason McAteer managed a hit and scored a run. Jeremiah Killian and Jeremiah Pruitt both had a hit and a walk. Will Edmondson also had a hit.

Sylas Adams walked twice, scored a run and drove in a run. Gavin Lang, Jameson Coker and Shaun Stewart each drew a walk. Kyler Beene scored a run.

Lang tossed 5 2/3 innings and gave up an earned run on a pair of hits with four walks and 12 strikeouts. Brantley Daugherty and Zach Clanton both worked 2/3 of an inning. Daugherty surrendered a hit.

The two teams finish their series on Thursday at Collinsville beginning at 4:30 p.m.
