COLLINSVILLE – Jake Middlebrooks blasted a pair of home runs, including a grand slam in the fifth inning. He finished with seven RBIs to lead the Collinsville Panthers past Sylvania 16-4 in area baseball action on Tuesday.
Jameson Coker and Mason McAteer added multiple hits for the Panthers (11-4).
Gavin Lang earned the win after tossing two scoreless innings with two walks and five strikeouts. Will Edmondson and Brantley Daugherty worked the rest of the way.
The two teams finish their area series at Sylvania on Thursday beginning at 4:30 p.m.
