Resident of Gadsden have complaining on traffic issues caused by tractor trailer trucks on weekday mornings.

Traffic has been backing up in the mornings due to a large number of trucks attempting to get into a warehouse located at Tuscaloosa and 7th Streets in Gadsden. The location is the site of an old Goodyear Warehouse, that appears to currently be inhabited by Alabama Self Storage and Warehousing.

Sources say that as many as 10 tucks can be there at a time, in what conflicts with school traffic, including school buses. Residents are concerned that it could be a safety issue for students that are attempting to board the buses at that time of morning.

We attempted to reach out to the business located there, to see if they were aware of the issue, or if there may be any plans to alleviate some of the log jam, but did not get an answer.
