SUMMERVILLE, Ga. – Isaac Bishop’s grand slam to center field in the seventh inning lifted the Cedar Bluff Tigers to a 5-2 baseball win at Chattooga on Thursday.
Bishop led the Tigers (7-1) with a pair of hits and a pair of walks. Hunter Stallings also had two hits at the plate and earned the win on the mound. He pitched two innings of scoreless ball in relief of Caleb Edmondson, allowing a pair of walks with five strikeouts.
Edmondson tossed five innings, allowing a hit with four walks and seven strikeouts.
Cedar Bluff plays Chattooga again at home on Saturday at 11 a.m.
