In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Maria Diaz-Adina, age 21 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on a charge of 3rd degree domestic violence.

Bridget Twaite, age 57 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Brenda Westbrook, age 56 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Jessica Stump, age 43 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of conditional release violation.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 115 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
