A woods fire, which may have started on County Road 1010, jumped County Road 104 and was burning in the area leading up to the Bluffs along County Road 767 early Tuesday afternoon.
The winds were fanning the flames and it seemed to be spreading quickly; there were approximately 20 acres burned.
Cedar Bluff Fire, Gaylesville Fire, Broomtown Fire, and Forestry units responded. In just over an hour, fire units had the blaze contained.
There was no damage reported to any structures and no injuries reported
