In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:
Gary Porter, age 66 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 126 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
