Etowah Blue Devils Win State Title

The Etowah Blue Devils are your 1-5A State Bowling Champions! It was a close match, Etowah won the title by one pin in the 10th Annual State Championship. This is the second title for the Blue Devils.

It was a challenge for the Blue Devils, in the initial match, they took their first loss of the season to Corner. This forced a winner take all battle for the title between the two teams. The previously undefeated Blue Devils were facing a 38 pin deficit going into the final match. It would come down to a single pin to determine your champion. Etowah ended up clinching the title with a 1,424 to 1,423 overall win. Ben Beitel, Jaxson Bush, E.J. Teal, Grayson Hunt, and Damon Devine were in the line up for the final match, which they won 187-148.

The Blue Devils are coached by Coach Shawanna Roper. Congrats to the Etowah Blue Devils and coach Roper! The Vestavia Hills Rebels were the winner in the 6-7A Classification.
