In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:
Ronald Haynes, age 73 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on a charge of driving under the influence on private property.
Ley Neal, age 39 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of revoked bond and failure to appear on previous charges of two counts of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, 1st degree possession of a forged instrument, the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession with the intent to distribute, and 2nd degree promoting prison contraband.
Ashyton Weaver, age 34 of Rome, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge of obstruct justice false ID.
Dana Dennis, age 27 of Brooklyn, New York, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on hold for another agency.
Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 122 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
