SAND ROCK – Kylie Vadon tossed in 28 points, including an 8-of-11 performance from the free-throw line, in leading the Cedar Bluff Lady Tigers to a 60-32 victory over Gaston in the Class 2A, Area 13 tournament semifinals on Saturday.

Vadon also had six rebounds, four steals and three assists for the Lady Tigers (16-9). Caley Bruce came away with 17 points, six boards, two steals and a block. Ciana Smith delivered seven points, eight rebounds and two steals. Janaya Higgins finished with six points, four assists, three steals and two rebounds.

Bella Holland led the Lady Bulldogs with 18 points. Shelby Waters finished with five points.

Cedar Bluff led 12-3 at the end of the first quarter and 24-12 at halftime. A 22-12 run in the third pushed the Lady Tiger lead to 46-24 at the end of three quarters.

Cedar Bluff will take on Sand Rock in the tournament final on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
