FYFFE – The Class 2A, No. 3 Sand Rock Lady Wildcats closed out basketball’s regular season with a 62-50 victory at Fyffe on Thursday.
Macey Pruitt led the Lady Wildcats (22-6) with 22 points and five rebounds. Peyton Johnson tallied 20 points and six boards. Kaylee Burns came away with five points and eight rebounds. Maddie Clanton contributed seven points and eight rebounds. Molly Grace Lay delivered seven assists and five steals.
Sand Rock hosts the 2A Area 13 Tournament on Saturday. The Lady Wildcats open play against Pleasant Valley at 3:30 p.m.
