CENTRE – Ellisan Givens accounted for 15 points, six steals and five assists in leading the Cherokee County Lady Warriors to a 57-12 area basketball rout of Cleburne County on Monday.

Marie Crane contributed 10 points, including a pair of 3-pointers. She also had an assist, a steal and a rebound for the Lady Warriors (20-3).

Brooklynn Bruce netted nine points, including a pair of treys. She also had three steals and a rebound. Vivian Connell added eight points and also had a pair of 3-pointers. She also had three rebounds, an assist and a steal. Deannia Starr delivered six points, six steals, four rebounds, four assists and a block. Libby Curry finished with five points and an assist.

Cherokee County jumped out to a 19-2 first-quarter advantage and led 33-6 at halftime. The Lady Warriors held Cleburne County scoreless in the third quarter and held a 52-6 edge.

Cherokee County travels to Piedmont on Tuesday.
