In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Howard Long, age 48 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge of driving under the influence.

Jesse Free, age 30 of Duncanville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of domestic violence-reckless endangerment, the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, 3rd degree robbery, and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Robert Cowser, age 42 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on previous charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 119 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
