In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Gary Morrison, age 45 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of bondsman off bond.

Tony Wilkerson, age 49 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

James Sims, age 67 of Hattiesfield, Arkansas, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on previous charges of two counts of obstruction of justice (providing false ID), two counts of improper lane usage, two counts of driving while revoked, two counts of open container violation, and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 118 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
