SAND ROCK – Maddie Clanton tossed in 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds in leading the Class 2A, No. 3 Sand Rock Lady Wildcats to a 57-36 basketball win over Piedmont on Tuesday.
Mollie Grace Lay added 10 points for the Lady Wildcats (16-5). Macey Pruitt finished with nine points, seven rebounds and five assists.
Sand Rock takes on Cherokee County in the Cherokee County Tournament Friday night at 7 p.m. at Richard Lindsey Arena in Centre.
