GERALDINE – Collinsville rallied from a 12-point first-quarter deficit and from seven down at halftime, but fell short 60-59 in area basketball action on Tuesday evening at Geraldine.

Zach Clanton led the Panthers with 23 points, including four 3-pointers. Jake Middlebrooks managed 16 points. Gavin Lang sank three treys and had 11 points. Mason McAteer finished with five points.

Cooper Johnson led three Bulldogs in double figures with 19 points, including three treys. He also connected on 5-of-7 free throws in the fourth quarter. Lucas Bryant added 18 points. Redick Smith finished with 15 points.

Geraldine jumped out to a 19-7 advantage at the end of the first quarter and held a 31-24 lead at halftime. The two teams were tied at 45 after three quarters, and the Bulldogs held on at the end for the final.
