JACKSONVILLE – Kristen Lewis sank seven 3-pointers and finished with 21 points. She also had three rebounds, three assists and a block in leading the top-ranked Spring Garden Lady Panthers to a 76-26 area basketball rout at Jacksonville Christian on Tuesday.
As a team, the Lady Panthers (21-1) connected on 16 treys. Ace Austin added 13 points, including three 3-pointers, with eight assists, six steals, four rebounds and two blocks. Olivia Law added 11 points, six rebounds, four steals and two assists.
Lacie Jo McMurray managed nine points on three treys. Maggie Jarrett delivered seven points, seven rebounds, six assists, five steals and a block. Addie Word finished with six points, six rebounds and two steals.
Spring Garden jumped out to a 31-3 lead in the first quarter and led 43-10 at halftime.
