The Gadsden State Community College Health Sciences Division hosted a pinning ceremony for students who completed requirements to become registered nurses. The pinning ceremony was held Dec. 16 at Gadsden State Cherokee. The Fall 2024 graduates are:

Several students were recognized for outstanding achievement during the pinning ceremony. The most prestigious award is the Florence Nightingale Award, which is given to the student who is the most committed to caring and compassionate nursing care. The winner of the cohort is Jhaylan Redwine.
The Excellence in Academic Achievement Award was presented to Joshua McKenzie, who had the highest grade point average in the class.
