In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

TABITHA KING, age 41 of Cartersville, Georgia, arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – on charges of Failure to Appear/Possession with Intent to Sell;

BARBARA GRIFFITT, 56 from Alabama City was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department, and charged with DUI/Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol;

SHANTERA KIRBY, age 39 of Centre, was arrested by Centre Police on the charges of DUI/Driving Under the Influence – Any Substance;

CHRISTOPHER GARRETT, age 52 from Cedar Bluff, was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police – and charged with Domestic Violence/Harassment, and also Possession of Brass Knuckles;

HAYDEN MERRITT age 29 from Cedar Bluff was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Court Ordered Sanction;

NATHAN MAYHALL 43 from Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Court Ordered Sanction;

DYLAN EDWARDS, age 31 of Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Court Order;

And

WILLIE EPPS, age 44 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, on Bond Revocation of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance charges (three counts).

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 111 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
