A single-vehicle crash that took place at approximately 1:20 – on Sunday morning (November 3rd) has claimed the life of a Rainsville man.
According to reports Joshua B. Dean, age 37, was fatally injured when the 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pickup that he was driving – left the roadway – struck a utility pole – and then a tree.
Dean reportedly wasn’t using a seat belt at the time of that wreck; he was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred on Alabama 40, some four miles west of Hammondville in DeKalb County.
Nothing further is available as of yet as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
