In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

PATRICK WILLIAMS age 43 of Cedar Bluff – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia;

JAMES PELFREY, 47 from Gadsden arrested by Centre Police and charged with Failure to Appear on a prior charge of Theft of Property 4th Degree;

KENRIC RUSSELL, 49 of Piedmont – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Stalking 2nd Degree;

BOBBY HONEYCUTT 27 from Gadsden was arrested by Cedar Bluff Police on a Revoked Bond;

CHRISTOPHER DAWSON age 50 of Centre – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a Probation Revocation (two counts);

And

MICHEAL POWELL, 39 from Rome, Georgia was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and he was charged with the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 109 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
