In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

JAMES HIGGINBOTHAM age 56 of Leesburg was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department, and was charged with Menacing, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest and Domestic Violence 3rd Degree;

DEBORAH FORCIONE, age 59 from Pulaski, New York was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and was charged with Criminal Mischief 1st Degree;

LORI MORGAN-PEACE, age 59 of Cedartown, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and charged with Criminal Trespass 1st Degree;

JOSHUA CROMPTON, 39 of Centre – was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – charged with DUI/Driving Under the Influence, and with VPL/Violation of the Prohibition Law;

And

AUTUMN JENKINS, age 27 of Gaylesville was arrested by Centre Police on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (two counts), a single count of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Receiving Stolen Property 2nd Degree.

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 112 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
