Temperatures today/Wednesday are expected to climb only into the 60-to-mid 60’s in north Alabama and Central Alabama is expected to peak in the upper 60’s to lower 70’s in the coming days. Today/Wednesday could be the coolest part of the week.
Tonight comes what could be the coldest night of the week with the low’s falling into the low-to-mid 30’s overnight and early tomorrow/Thursday.
The weather service said Frost Advisories will not be out of the question for parts of northern Alabama this week.
Forecasters also are not expecting any rainfall over the next week, which could cause drought conditions to get worse – and also temperatures are expected to begin to moderate starting Thursday – with warmer weather expected over the weekend.
