CENTRE – The Cherokee County Lady Warriors swept through the Block Out Cancer Quad Match volleyball tournament at home on Saturday. They defeated Jacksonville 25-22, 25-21, Boaz 25-20, 28-26, and Westbrook Christian 25-12, 25-21.

For the day, Macy Lea accumulated 77 assists, 12 digs, four kills and three aces for the Lady Warriors (38-13). Ava Haygood collected 23 kills, 23 digs, a block and an assist. Nevaeh Gaidurgis contributed 28 kills, 17 digs and three blocks. Jolie Alexander added 18 kills and six blocks. Ellisan Givens delivered 38 digs, five assists and four aces.

Lilly Shaw came away with 11 kills and a pair of blocks. Jesslyn Hincy had 13 digs and a pair of aces. Raegan Garmany managed three kills and a block. Deannia Starr had two kills, two blocks and a dig. Libby Curry finished with three aces.
