Two people were hurt in a single-vehicle accident occurring overnight in Etowah County (Sunday Night/Monday morning).

According to Alabama State Troopers – both the driver and a passenger – in a 2015 Nissan were listed as being injured in that mishap, occurring at around 2:15am (Monday) on I-59.  Both male occupants – from Fort Royal, Alabama – were taken to an area hospital for treatment after that wreck.

No information has yet been released regarding their condition(s) or any cause for the accident.
