WEIS Radio Unsung Heroes of the Week

This week’s WEIS Radio Unsung Heroes of the Week are sisters, April Flynt and Ashley Carroll, of the Cedar Bluff Post Office.

If ever you go to the Cedar Bluff Post Office, there is a very good chance you will see these two young ladies behind the counter. The Postmaster of the Cedar Bluff Post Office told WEIS Radio these are the two best clerks she has ever had.

Both of the sisters said they really like to interact with the public and they have met and befriended many people in the town of Cedar Bluff. They also said there is a lot of multitasking that goes along with clerking at the Post Office. But, they both love their jobs.

April Flynt is a 2002 Cedar Bluff High School graduate. She has worked in the postal service since 2016. She has a boyfriend, Jeffrey, and a son, Lathan Hoske, who is a senior on the Cedar Bluff football team.

Ashley Carroll is a 2011 Cedar Bluff High School graduate. She has worked in the Postal Service since 2019. She has a partner, Ashly, and she is the Postmaster at the Centre Post Office.

Both of the sisters of the Cedar Bluff Post Office make it an enjoyable trip whenever you have to pick up some mail or packages.

Each week, the men and women selected for this recognition are pivotal to the success of the workplaces where they are employed.
