Cedar Bluff Man Arrested in Cave Spring

Georgia Law Enforcement Officials, recently arrested a Cherokee County, Alabama man after – according to reports – he hit, and bit, an officer.  39 year old John Edwin Terry Jr. of Cedar Bluff – was arrested in Cave Spring after the alleged altercation.

Authorities stated that they went to 150 Gadsden Road where they asked him why he was pounding on the side of a camper trailer.  Police said Terry became belligerent towards them, and as a result of his actions, they advised him that he was being placed under arrest.  And then at that point Terry struck the officer on the left side of the head before biting his forearm.

Terry was then allegedly found with drugs that were not in their original container.

He was charged with aggravated battery – two counts felony obstruction – disorderly conduct and drugs not in original container.
