Gaylesville School will host its 7th annual homecoming parade on Wednesday (Oct. 9) at 5 p.m., with line-up next to the track and baseball field.
The parade, which will feature decorated floats and candy for the kids, will follow the same route as previous years, beginning on Oak Street and turning right onto Main Street/AL Highway 68, then turning right again at the 4-way stop onto AL Highway 35, before ending back on Oak Street.
Immediately following the parade, everyone is invited to attend a community hotdog meal at the football field. There will also be a chili cook-off with the the winner receiving a $20 Walmart gift card. Anyone interested in entering the chili contest, may contact Kayla Bass at 256-706-1735.
The Trojans will host the Spring Garden Panthers for homecoming on Friday (Oct. 11) at Roy Knapp, Sr. Field at Trojan Stadium with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
