In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

TERRY HUGGINS, age 35 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Auto Theft 1st Degree;

DAVID MCFRY, age 31 from Mobile, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, charged with Youthful Offender status and also Failure to Appear on prior charges of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance;

BILLY TUCKER 45 from Collinsville was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with a Conditional Release Violation and also Failure to Appear on previous charges of Firearm Sale/Short Barrel, also Person Forbidden to Possess a Firearm – and the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance;

WESLEY QUARLES age 36 of Centre was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with a Bond Revocation;

BILLY MITCHELL, age 65 og Gaylesville was arrested by Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office officials and charged with a Court Order;

And

BRANDI DEERMAN, age 30 of Gadsden, was arrested by Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office officials – and charged with Failure to Appear on previous charges of:  Possession of a Forged Instrument 3rd Degree (three counts) and Theft of Property 4th Degree (two counts).

Arrests are based upon probable cause – and, all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Currently, there are a total of 113 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
