Relief Effort for Storm Victims
An 18 wheeler truck will be set up in the Shopping Center – between Pic N’ Save and The Gridiron Restaurant – TODAY (Wednesday) – starting at 8:00am (until…) – accepting supplies to be sent to the Hurricane stricken areas of North Carolina and/or Eastern Tennessee.
Items needed include but are not limited to: Non Perishable Food Items, Canned Foods (which need to have an “easy open” pull top), baby items – including: formula, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items, etc. – also water, snacks, protein bars and snacks.
Members of the Cherokee County Rescue Squad, and many others, will be on hand to accept the donations and volunteers are needed to assist with the loading process.
